An Intense International Promotion Programme Underway for SICAM 2019

The international promotion programme will shortly be underway for SICAM 2019. The event is destined to see an increase in the number of professionals who will come to Pordenone from over 100 countries around the world, from 15th to 18th October, to meet the companies taking part.Already at the beginning of February, the Expo SICAM team will be in Tehran. Here, from 2nd to 5th, WOODEX IRAN will be held at the Tehran Permanent Fairground. The exhibition focuses on subcontracting, components, semi-finished products, equipment and accessories for the furniture industry. It is an event where over 15,000 industry professionals and 320 exhibitors, from 16 foreign countries, are expected to attend.But it is March that will be the fullest month for meetings: SICAM will be at the DUBAI WOODSHOW from 12th to 14th March to present the Pordenone exhibition to the main market in the Gulf area. It is a market which is expected to grow further in the field of construction and furniture in view of the upcoming Expo 2020. Over the same period, the team will also be in India at DELHIWOOD, scheduled from 13th to 16th March at the India Expo Centre and Mart in New Delhi: the Indian market is currently the 14th largest furniture market in the world, but the sector’s national industry is expected to increase by 20% annually over the coming years, and business prospects are, therefore, very interesting.There will also be a first coverage of the South American markets with the team’s presence at FIMMA in Bento Gonçalves, Brazil, from 26th to 29th March: it is considered one of the most important trade fairs in the industry and more than 25,000 visitors for 360 exhibitors, belonging to all supply chains in the furniture industry, are expected to attend. Finally, the last appointment in this first part of the SICAM 2019 promotion season will be in Sofia, Bulgaria, for TECHNOMEBEL: with its 11,000 anticipated visitors and more than 180 national and international exhibitors, it is the reference event for the whole Balkan area and for a domestic market that is recording an annual growth of 7%, with over 3,000 companies active in the industry.
