PREVEX ACCESSORIES IN ELEGANT DIFFERENT COLOURS

Prevex can now offer visible kitchen and bathroom accessories in a wide range of trendy colours including the popular black matt. The colours have been carefully chosen to match the latest kitchen and bathroom trends.

Together with our flexible and space saving water traps, you can now offer your end customers an even more comprehensive sink and wash basin solution with matching strainers, remote knobs and overflow covers.

The coloured accessories are available for all our products.

PREVEX IS SWITCHING TO RECYCLED PLASTICS

By switching to recycled plastic, Prevex is reducing its carbon emissions by over 3000 tons by the end of 2022. This is the first step for the Prevex in its transition to becoming a company fit for the future.

Companies, industries, and societies are all contributing to the over-consumption of the worlds' limited resources. They need to reduce their emissions in order to reach the Agenda 2030-goals that nearly all countries in the world agreed on. The family-owned company Prevex, founded 1955, is using plastics as main raw material in the products. In 2019, the company realized that to take its responsibility it is necessary to readjust and reduce the own environmental footprint.

Last year Prevex did a lifecycle analysis on its products to determine a way to maximize reduction of its environmental footprint. The results showed that phasing out virgin plastic and switching to recycled plastic would make a big difference in emissions and reduce Prevex's own consumption of new plastic.

- When we took a close look at our products, we saw that the most impactful way of reducing our environmental footprint was to reduce the use of virgin plastic in our products. Therefore, we are currently phasing out virgin plastic from our water traps, replacing it with recycled plastic. We will do everything we can to help the climate recover, and we hope other companies in our industry will follow as well, says Marko Nylund, CEO at Prevex.

By the end of 2022, Prevex will replace virgin plastic with recycled material in all the products and packaging. As a first step, the company is relaunching its bestselling product Smartloc with 60 percent recycled plastic. Alongside the Smartloc relaunch, Prevex will do the same with all other products. In total, the plastic shift combined with other climate actions will reduce Prevex's carbon emissions by more than 3000 tons by the end of 2022.

- The world is facing a lot of challenges that might change our lives forever. But in the future, we will still need to wash our hands and that's why we will always need water traps. It's our responsibility to make our products as sustainable as possible, and that is why we have to do this relaunch and build a more sustainable everyday life, says Marko Nylund.

P-loc is a very versatile water trap and is hence a perfect match for any kitchen sink. P-loc follows the design of traditional European models, where all parts of the water trap are clearly visible.

P-locs's horizontal and vertical telescopic features allow for maximum adjustability in different configurations. This water trap is easy to mount, either on a wall or the floor. In addition, there is a wide range of accessories available for P-loc and in different colours, including black matt.

Packed with smart technical features and partly made from recycled plastic, Smartloc is the ultimate water trap for any kitchen. This water trap features clever improvements, such as smooth oval pipes to prevent residue build-up. The adjustable, telescopic arms make Smartloc extremely flexible and space-saving. In addition, the visible accessories are found in different colors such as black matt. Smartloc is also extremely easy to clean thanks to a special plug for easy cleaning.

Flexloc was developed on our customers' request. With its versatility, this compact and robust water trap is a great solution for most needs. In fact, Flexloc is our most flexible water trap and a perfect fit for any kitchen sink as it comes equipped with both horizontal and vertical telescopic arms. The visible accessories, like e.g. the strainer, is available in different colours.

Bathroom components

Preloc is a flexible and easy-to-install water trap for bathrooms. As all Prevex water traps, its arms are cuttable and therefore adjustable to any space. In addition, Preloc comes with a wide range of plugs and other accessories. The visual accessories are now also available in different colours like black matt.
