3810.20 bio-based edgebanding adhesive

HMPUR 3810.20 adhesive is suitable for edgebanding chipboard, MDF, and wood, with PVC, PET, ABS, and paper edges.

It is characterized by
-high initial tack, which allows subsequent inline processing
-high stability in the melter: up to 3-4 days
- long open time and good wettability.

This adhesive is part of the new BIO-based line produced by TAKA. The company has tackled this project by creating new formulations with a minimum content of 20% bio-based raw materials.

It is therefore an approach that goes beyond the simple substitution of raw materials but aims to give all those who already use reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives a sustainable version of adhesive without sacrificing bonding performance.

The aim is to extend this new technology to all the other adhesive lines produced by TAKA for both interior and exterior applications in order to create an overall sustainable growth plan.

2308.75L low-emission matt panel adhesive

2308.75L is the low-isocyanate version of the 2308.75 adhesive.

It is an adhesive for wood or HPL (high-pressure laminate) panels suitable for thick or matt foils.
It can also be used to assemble sandwich panels with different combinations of insulation materials such as polyester bonded to sheet metal, HPL, or plastic panels.

This adhesive has a high initial tack, good machine stability, and a good open time.
The launch of the LESS Line, of which 2308.75L is a part, took place in 2023 following the publication of the European REACH directive on the handling of diisocyanates.

The directive requires all users of products with a concentration of monomeric diisocyanate above 0.1% to undergo mandatory safety training for five years.

The LESS range contains a minimal amount of isocyanates in the form of free MDI (diisocyanate monomer), which is generally essential for the chemical cross-linking of reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives but is so low that no training is required.

2308.1T adhesive for slot nozzle machines

The Adhesive 2308.1T was developed for those who work with slot nozzles and need to apply matt or super glossy decors to MDF panels.

Thanks to its high initial tack, it allows you to
- perform milling and cutting operations immediately after wrapping
-stacking materials immediately after wrapping
without risk of denting.

In addition, the 2308.1T adhesive does not require a high initial tack at the time of application, which allows for a thinner and therefore less visible adhesive line.

This adhesive also has excellent resistance to water, heat, cold and solvents.
