In 2025, Schilsner celebrates its 20th anniversary - two decades of innovation, quality, and trust in the furniture industry. Since the beginning, our mission has been clear: to provide comprehensive furniture finishing solutions that meet the highest aesthetic and technical standards.

Our flagship product is ABS furniture edgebands, manufactured in a wide range of decors, thicknesses, and widths to suit the latest design trends. Thanks to ongoing investments in advanced technologies, we now offer over 1,000 decors, available directly from stock - from classic woodgrains and stone patterns to modern matte and deep-textured finishes.

One of our most innovative products is worktop edgebands, specifically developed for surfaces subject to intense daily use. With enhanced scratch and impact resistance, these edgebands are designed to provide a durable and harmonious finish on long worktop edges.

We also stand out with digital printing technology, enabling the creation of highly detailed, near-photographic decor designs. This allows us to fulfill custom orders and respond to the unique needs of clients around the globe.

What do worktop edgebands stand for and why to use a dedicated product for a premium worktop finish?
The kitchen worktop is where intense work takes place. With daily bustle, it is easy to scratch or dent. At the same time, the worktop replacement is complicated and expensive. This is why a kitchen top should not only be beautiful and matched to the furniture, but also resistant and durable.
In case of the edges, particularly exposed to intensive use, this task will only be fulfilled by truly a professional finish.
Worktop edgebands are a professional product designed to provide a spotless and durable finish of worktop edges. They are distinguished from furniture edgebands by two important features.
Firstly, their decors are specially designed for the typically long and wide edge of a worktop. The characteristic details of woodgrain or stone pattern have been distributed with less repetition than in furniture edgebands, thus achieving a harmonious and authentic appearance.
However, the most important advantage of dedicated worktop edgebands is their particular mechanical resistance. Thanks to a special surface processing technology they feature an increased resistance to scratch and minor dents.
