The perfect solutions for more storage space - flexibly usable

Pordenone, October 14, 2025 - With the new VS Gate Rack and VS Gate Rack Plus, Vauth-Sagel is presenting two well-designed storage systems at SICAM 2025 that make optimal use of previously unused space—whether in the cabinet, on the wall, or on the inside of the door. Both systems offer maximum flexibility, modern design, and easy, tool-free adaptation to individual storage needs.

Flexible storage for every cabinet height

With the innovative VS Gate Rack, a new generation of flexible storage solutions is introduced. This versatile hanging shelf can be mounted both inside the cabinet and on the wall, and with four available heights (H1, H3, H5, and H6), it perfectly adapts to various applications—from compact base cabinets to midboards and spacious tall cabinets.

The H1 variant is particularly space-saving: it can be mounted directly on the inside of the cabinet door without requiring additional force transfer—ideal for smaller, lightweight items.

For larger door solutions, the VS Gate Rack Plus offers an even more robust option. Based on the same frame design, an articulated force transfer via sliding bearings in the cabinet provides additional stability—especially for heavier loads. Exclusively designed for door mounting in heights H3, H5, and H6, the system reliably relieves the door hinges.

Both variants are available in two widths: C 450 / 500 and C 600—suitable for common cabinet dimensions.

Design diversity and functional features

The versatile organization systems VS Gate Rack and VS Gate Rack Plus now offer even more design options: with shelves in the four design lines Essentio®, Premea, Planero®, and Saphir, the systems can be individually configured according to style and purpose. Thanks to the concealed integrated grid supports, height adjustment is tool-free in precise 64 mm increments. This ensures a tidy appearance and offers maximum flexibility in interior design.

New in the program: the VS Gate Flex Sets. These clever accessory solutions have been specially developed for functional zones in the kitchen, bathroom, and utility room. Whether around the sink, stove, oven, or washing machine—with the sets, adjacent storage areas can be specifically structured and optimized. 30 New OSTERMANN ABS Edgings

OSTERMANN is service, diversity and speed. The Italian company Cleaf is known for their high quality and innovative surfaces. Both are now available in combination: To enable you as carpenter / cabinet maker to use the exclusive boards for your show projects, we worked in close cooperation with Cleaf to create thirty new ABS edgings to match the highlights of the current collections.

Surfaces by Cleaf are highly appreciated in interior design. Typical of their collections are many neutral colours and monochrome decors that receive their unique and elegant look through their extraordinary texture. This is why we at OSTERMANN are especially excited that we were able to design thirty new furniture edgings in close cooperation with Cleaf to match the highlights of the current collections. The edgings possess the impressive surface properties and optical effects typical of Cleaf products. They are available from stock in small quantities upwards of one metre in dimensions of 23, 33, 43 and 100 x 1 mm. If you need widths deviating from the standard dimensions, we will be happy to cut down from a 100 mm edging into your required width.

Edgings with velvety-smooth leather texture
Surfaces by Cleaf which have the "primofiore" texture not only look like real leather, they also have the same unique natural, soft feel. This leather-typical surface structure is mirrored in our new furniture edgings. They are available matching the decors FA33, UB19 and UA80.

Edgings with a metallic look and brushed texture
As carpenter / cabinet maker you can now also find new edgings matching the "idea"-textured surfaces FB80 and FB86 in our range. The surface structure is reminiscent of brushed aluminium with delicate, regular grooves at a 45° angle. Alternatively, you can also get our ABS edgings matching the FA84 decor that has the texture "reflex." The surface structure gives the edgings the same feel as polished aluminium.

Linen-look edgings
The Cleaf boards with "penelope" texture are another eye catcher - they have the graceful look of linen. You can get the matching edgings to the decors FA33 (a dark, iridescently monochrome bronze look), FA41, FA42 and FA44 (neutral plain colours) from us.

Exclusive OSTERMANN Creations
Aside from the edgings presented here, we offer many more creations matching the Cleaf surfaces. Examples of this are ABS edgings with the "alpaca," "ares," or "sablè" texture. All furniture edgings can be ordered quickly and easily via telephone or online together with many other materials for furniture making.

ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG will be presenting a complete upgrade of its innovative drop-down seals from the Planet KG product family for glass doors. The versatile drop-down seals in the optimised KG-A/S/F glass line impress above all with their easy assembly without drying and resting times as well as the consistently high demands on quality and functionality. Thanks to the many available colour variants, they also suit any design.

Planet drop-down seals reliably close the gap between the door and floor and are suitable for all types of doors in new buildings and existing buildings. When optimising the popular Planet KG product portfolio for single and double-leaf all-glass doors, the Swiss door solution experts focused particularly on an even smarter and more time-saving assembly. At the same time, effective sound insulation for the glass systems as well as the delicate and aesthetic visual appearance remain guaranteed in the usual high quality. Just like the versatile installation scenarios for all toughened safety glass and laminated safety glass thicknesses.

Smart assembly with no drying times

Planet KG drop-down seals have never been easier and faster to assemble with optimised seals. Instead of glueing the drop-down seal into the protection profile as before, it can be fixed mechanically via the end caps. Waiting times for drying are thus completely eliminated. The new mechanical fixing also enables easy switching from DIN L to DIN R, whereby the drop-down seal can be replaced at any time. Depending on requirements, glue, silicone or UV glue can be completely dispensed with. In addition to the tried-and-tested Planet KG-SM solution with integrated adhesive tape, Planet KG-F and KG-A drop-down seals are now also available with VHB adhesive strips, which make it very easy to attach the glass solutions to the glass.

Delicate and elegant design in all colours

The entire reworked product line is also available in the trend colour black (black C35 satin anodised). Together with all Planet KG-F, KG-An and KG-S narrow cover caps, which are also designed in black anodised finish, aluminium cutting edges are a thing of the past. Surface finishes in colourless anodised EV1 and satin anodised stainless steel (INOX) are also available.

The upgrade of the Planet KG product family for glass doors will be available from 1 September 2025. However, components of the predecessor products will only be available until the end of 2025 and will then be discontinued by the manufacturer.
