Cabineo X - Cabinet connector and shelf support without edge drilling

The Cabineo X is a cabinet connector that uses drilling or milling processes for cabinets and shelves with pure surface machining. No need for edge drill holes for a dowel. Thanks to this feature, machining is possible on all CNC machining centres, including simple 3-axis machines and nesting machines. A special feature of the Cabineo X is that the open housing can be combined with the various Cabineo screws and shelf supports. Depending on the application, a wood screw, a metric screw or a shelf support can be used. If a carcass corner or a fixed shelf is to be firmly connected, the wood screw is pre-assembled at the side. The lid or shelf is placed on the screwed-in wood screws and pre-fixed in this manner. A cordless drill and the Cabineo bit are used to tighten the screw and connect the workpiece quickly and powerfully. This enables the assembly of even large pieces of furniture by one single person. Alternatively, the open housing allows the desired screw to be inserted so that the Cabineo X cabinet connector can be used in the same way as the standard Cabineo. In combination with a Cabineo X shelf support, the connector prevents shelves from being unintentionally pulled out or lifted off, which is particularly helpful for open shelf units or caravan construction and shipbuilding. The milling for the Cabineo X is identical to the standard Cabineo, so the same machining is possible on all workpieces. Compared to a cam connector, the Cabineo impresses with its more efficient processing and faster assembly and is also distinguished by a high clamping force, all without the need for additional wooden dowels. The Cabineo offers considerable advantages in the manufacturing, transport and assembly process. This means that the connector can even be mounted in the workpieces during the production process and these can, in turn, be stacked for transport, without protruding parts that could damage the workpieces. Depending on the colour of the material used, the white or black housing colour may be better suited. If the Cabineo is to be concealed, cover caps are available in different colours.

The RAUVISIO cube authentic concrete effect won over two top-class juries of international design awards: the Red Dot, in the "Materials and Surfaces" category, and the Interzum guangzhou Award 2025 as "Outstanding Furniture Accessory", according to the Asian market. By faithfully reproducing the raw texture of concrete through natural pores and cavities that make each panel different from the other, the innovative REHAU surfaces respond to the growing demand for materials with a strong character in interior design, ensuring simple processing with common woodworking tools.
The combination with RAUKANTEX pigmento edgebands, pigmented in the milling radius, also makes it possible to obtain the appearance of a solid concrete slab, for perfect finished components that can be combined with RAUVISIO noble matt and RAUVISIO noir surfaces, as well as with the RAUVOLET noble matt roller shutter system, for a monolithic, pure, and minimalist interior design. 30 New OSTERMANN ABS Edgings

OSTERMANN is service, diversity and speed. The Italian company Cleaf is known for their high quality and innovative surfaces. Both are now available in combination: To enable you as carpenter / cabinet maker to use the exclusive boards for your show projects, we worked in close cooperation with Cleaf to create thirty new ABS edgings to match the highlights of the current collections.

Surfaces by Cleaf are highly appreciated in interior design. Typical of their collections are many neutral colours and monochrome decors that receive their unique and elegant look through their extraordinary texture. This is why we at OSTERMANN are especially excited that we were able to design thirty new furniture edgings in close cooperation with Cleaf to match the highlights of the current collections. The edgings possess the impressive surface properties and optical effects typical of Cleaf products. They are available from stock in small quantities upwards of one metre in dimensions of 23, 33, 43 and 100 x 1 mm. If you need widths deviating from the standard dimensions, we will be happy to cut down from a 100 mm edging into your required width.

Edgings with velvety-smooth leather texture
Surfaces by Cleaf which have the "primofiore" texture not only look like real leather, they also have the same unique natural, soft feel. This leather-typical surface structure is mirrored in our new furniture edgings. They are available matching the decors FA33, UB19 and UA80.

Edgings with a metallic look and brushed texture
As carpenter / cabinet maker you can now also find new edgings matching the "idea"-textured surfaces FB80 and FB86 in our range. The surface structure is reminiscent of brushed aluminium with delicate, regular grooves at a 45° angle. Alternatively, you can also get our ABS edgings matching the FA84 decor that has the texture "reflex." The surface structure gives the edgings the same feel as polished aluminium.

Linen-look edgings
The Cleaf boards with "penelope" texture are another eye catcher - they have the graceful look of linen. You can get the matching edgings to the decors FA33 (a dark, iridescently monochrome bronze look), FA41, FA42 and FA44 (neutral plain colours) from us.

Exclusive OSTERMANN Creations
Aside from the edgings presented here, we offer many more creations matching the Cleaf surfaces. Examples of this are ABS edgings with the "alpaca," "ares," or "sablè" texture. Sugatsune is expanding its lineup of stainless steel ring covers with two new models designed for deep-type refuse box applications. The new additions include a round type (model AN-HH025) and an oval type (model AN-VH023), both offered in satin and black finishes to match a variety of interiors.
The round version is available in two diameters—254 mm and 305 mm—and features an especially deep design that helps prevent backsplash for improved hygiene and usability.
