Aqueous-dispersion or solvent neoprene-based contact adhesives

As part of its constant research and development activities, MB Adhesives is now able to add the new aqueous-dispersion Klebofix W adhesives to its well-established and appreciated solvent-based contact adhesives. They are formulated to offer low and/or zero sVOC content and high efficiency, for fast and safe bonding of foams in the upholstery and mattress industry, as well as a variety of other materials, such as wadding, leather, fabrics and non-woven materials in general.

Single and two-component reactive polyurethane adhesives

MB Adhesives has formulated and developed a range of strong and durable adhesives, designed to meet the needs of the woodworking industry, for agglomeration processing, for the production of sandwich insulation panels and for the production of composite materials.

The research activities carried out by our laboratories have recently made it possible, where possible, to offer adhesive solutions that use raw materials derived from renewable sources, limiting the use of fossil-derived materials as much as possible. This resulted in our range of single and two-component reactive polyurethane adhesives, formulated for safe adhesion, with low VOC content and used in various fields and industries.

Thanks to its new, modern production lines, MB Adhesives guarantees quality and consistency of the product and is an ideal partner when it comes to developing tailor-made solutions for the customer's specific needs.

Our well-established range of thermosetting powder adhesives

Urea-based powdered adhesives, also known as urea-formaldehyde adhesives, are based on the reaction between urea and formaldehyde. Used with hot presses, they offer excellent resistance to high temperatures and humidity.

These adhesives represent a well-established range in MB Adhesives production and are now even more efficient thanks to innovation and research. They are low formaldehyde emission, self-hardening powder adhesives that use natural excipients and raw materials from renewable sources.
Ready for use after simple aqueous dispersion, they ensure long-lasting and safe bonding that meets all the requirements of the woodworking, furniture and furnishings industries.

They are mainly used for bonding wood with hot presses, for the production of honeycomb-core panels and multilayer panels and for veneering.

Aqueous-dispersion PVAc adhesives and Copolymers, with low VOC concentration

Our range of aqueous-dispersion vinyl adhesives is the result of decades of experience in research, production and service and, together with traditional and well-established solutions, it is now characterised by excellent formulations with a low VOC concentration, free of dangerous substances, with plasticisers of vegetable origin which guarantee: sustainability, low environmental impact and excellent bonding.

The product range includes adhesives that are mainly clear and easy to clean and to process, suitable for the woodworking, paper converting and food packaging sectors.

Polymer and resin-based solid Hot melt adhesives

For decades, our range of EVA-based Hot melt adhesives have meant reliability, efficacy and safety certified by accredited laboratories. They are adhesives formulated for the manufacturing, bookbinding and graphic arts, paper converting and packaging, furniture and food packaging industries.

MB Adhesives' EVA-based Hot melt adhesives are formulated and produced thanks to research and the use of high quality raw materials, using, whenever possible, materials derived from renewable and sustainable sources, in order to reduce the environmental impact not only of the product, but also of its entire life cycle.

High-performance, self-cleaning adhesives

Thanks to a careful search for raw materials of high quality and purity, MB Adhesives can offer a wide range of self-cleaning products that ensure high performance and a significant reduction in energy consumption and facility maintenance, with no fumes and in safe conditions for the operators.

From this expertise come the series Ivymelt X and Ivymelt Y, metallocene Hot melt adhesives with innovative features, developed to meet the most specific needs of the operators of the packaging industry. For this production sector, MB Adhesives has also created the Ivymelt series 8000: Apao Hot melt adhesives with very high performance and strength, for the most sophisticated industrial needs.
